I had a student come in today who had to find an article on a topic and photocopy it. That isn't as easy as it sounds. Sure, the student can search a database and identify an article. The problem is that much of our journal collection these days is online-only. Several of our databases allow you to limit a search to full-text, but I haven't seen one yet that allows you to limit your results to print. I'm not sure if the instructor is trying to make the student suffer, or if the student doesn't understand the difference between a "web resource" and an online journal.
